Lasko Runs Away

Lasko's powers reach a breaking point, and he finally runs away from home. He finds someone who exudes a magical aura, and though he isn’t sure what it is, he recognizes it as being linked to his mysterious powers and asks them for help. The stranger is a Psychokinetic named Jessica, who realizes he is a humanborn unempowered and takes him to the Department for debriefing. The Department arranges temporary housing and Lasko starts a rudimentary magical education, though it is slow-going due to his hesitance to use his powers.
