1909. A remote hotel in snowy St. Moritz, Switzerland. After a particularly tumultuous Vampire Monarchal Summit the year prior, it was decided that perhaps it was time to try a simpler affair: just two representatives from each House, hosted on neutral ground. And for a time, it seemed to be a success. That is, until a fight broke out between two of the Vampires in attendance, causing serious damage to the hotel and a complete headache for the effort to maintain covert.
In a bid to deescalate the situation, Farah Baz, the oldest Vampiric Monarch in attendance, decides to throw a party in the hotel ballroom. It should be an opportunity to wine, dine, and hash out some of the messy political details that brought both the conflict to a head and the Vampires all here in the first place. But the tension is palpable from the very start.
As a wintery storm tears through the town, snowing-in all its occupants, the Vampires of the Summit risk coming to blows all over again as their secret objectives and allegiances are laid bare in the confinement. And in this Vampiric world of cloak and dagger maneuvers, you can never be sure whose smile hides a sinister double meaning. Which Houses will emerge from the Summit triumphant? And which will be torn asunder?
