$24.99

Host your own murder mystery party with this digital kit! "Transatlantic Terror" is a late 20's themed murder mystery party suitable for 8 to 12 guests, played across two acts:

October 24th, 1929. The RMS Stormborn is the pride of the transatlantic fleet and the darling of the rich and worldly. For years it has made its journeys from the shores of New York to Southampton and back without incident, but now, midway through an otherwise ordinary trip to the United States, disaster strikes. News of the Stock Market Crash ravages the ship, sowing chaos among its complement of rich elites. In a matter of hours, swathes of the first class passengers watch as their fortunes fizzle away to nothing. By the time they reach New York, some of the wealthiest people aboard the ship will have little more to their name than some of the stewards serving them.

In a bid to lift the spirits of those aboard, the Captain of the Stormborn makes the decision to throw a Grand Party in the first-class ballroom. For many aboard, this could be the last time they experience such decadence for years, if ever, and the tension is palpable.

While a storm rages outside, frustration and fury grow just as strong within the four walls of the ballroom. Divisions between the passengers whose money was not invested on the market and those who lost everything threaten to tear the group apart, pushed in no small part by the secret relationships many of the passengers all have with one another. The crew watching it unfold is equally divided, torn between sick joy at the fall of the entitled wealthy and the fear of the greater repercussions of such a disaster.

It is only a matter of time before the explosive tension comes to a head. Alone in the raging ocean, who among the Stormborn’s passengers will lose more than just their fortune before the night ends?
