Lasko's powers begin to manifest as a result of entering puberty. His parents respond very poorly, and instead of seeking answers proceed to isolate him from the outside world.
Darlin Moves
"Darlin" and their parents move to Dahlia from Washington. They become members of the Shaw Pack.
Shaw Camping
Members of the Shaw Pack go on a trip up to their regular camping spot. Gabe falls out of the back of the Greers' pickup truck, causing David and Asher to shift and run to him, but he is unharmed and it becomes a treasured story.
